About Tiffany Elliott

Tiffany Elliott, PMHNP-BC, is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care to adults in Palestine and the surrounding communities. She is currently accepting adult patients ages 18–65.

From a young age, Elliott felt called to help others, beginning with her closest community. “My inspiration to pursue health care, particularly mental health, came from witnessing significant struggles within my family and through my own experiences,” she explains. “Seeing how much pain can result from untreated or unsupported mental health challenges shaped my commitment to this work. I never wanted others to experience that level of suffering—especially when so much of it is preventable with the right care, education, and support.”

Elliott is committed to reducing stigma and barriers to care so patients can access meaningful, evidence-based psychiatric treatment. Elliott believes mental health is foundational to overall well-being.

“Mental health influences how we think, feel, and relate to others—it shapes our entire experience of life,” she says. “This specialty allows me to treat the whole person by integrating biology, psychology, lifestyle, and meaning into care. Improvements in mental health often go beyond symptom reduction and can lead to improved functioning, healthier relationships, and lasting personal fulfillment.”

In her clinical practice, Elliott emphasizes prevention, self-awareness, and sustainable care. Treatment includes medication management and therapy, while incorporating education around lifestyle factors and an approach that looks at the whole person.

“I practice a patient-centered, collaborative, and integrative approach,” Elliott says. “Care is personalized and never one-size-fits-all. Medication management is used thoughtfully and in alignment with each patient’s goals, alongside education and long-term capacity building.”

Care plans are developed collaboratively to support long-term health, functional improvement, and sustainable well-being rather than short-term symptom relief alone.

“The relationship I build with each patient is the most important component of care,” Elliott adds. “By creating a supportive, judgment-free environment that promotes honesty and collaboration, care can focus on developing a treatment plan that aligns with each patient’s beliefs and goals, supporting meaningful and lasting improvements.”

“My philosophy is simple: mental health care should be thoughtful, personalized, and empowering. I want patients to feel seen, informed, and supported—and to leave with tools that help them build a life that feels aligned, sustainable, and fulfilling.”

Elliott earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Tyler.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading. She has completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training and prioritizes movement and mindfulness as part of a balanced lifestyle.
