Stacy Smith, CPNP

With more than 25 years of professional nursing experience, Stacy Smith, MSN, RN, CPNP-PC, serves as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Palestine Medical Group. Pediatrics has always been her passion, shaping both her career and her approach to patient care. 

Stacy Smith is deeply committed to fostering growth and development in every child under her care. She finds great fulfillment in being part of a child’s life during the formative years and supporting young families throughout their journey. The opportunity to help families and children grow is the most rewarding aspect of her career, and she cannot imagine working in any other specialty.

Stacy Smith provides care for young patients of all ages, managing a broad spectrum of conditions. Her expertise includes treating minor injuries and everyday illnesses, conducting wellness checks, providing preventive care, and performing developmental screenings. She sees patients from newborns to age 18, starting with the first well-visit three days after birth and continuing through adolescence. There are no limitations to the types of pediatric patients she serves.

Stacy’s goal is to address the unique needs of each child and family who joins her practice. She continuously seeks to expand her knowledge and adapt her practice as guidelines change and new information emerges. This dedication is reflected in her commitment to providing both standard, regularly scheduled checkups and personalized treatment plans and educational programs tailored to each child and family.

Stacy builds her practice on a foundation of open communication and family education. By getting to know each child and their family, she is able to provide care and guidance through the years and as they achieve milestones and goals. 

Stacy Smith earned her undergraduate degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler and her Master’s in Nursing from Texas Tech Health Science Center.
