Jane Lee, MD, PhD

Dr. Jane Lee, MD, PhD, is a highly experienced General Surgeon at Palestine Regional Medical Center with over 15 years of experience. Dr. Lee is known for her patient-centered approach and contributions to medical research. She earned both her Doctor of Medicine and a PhD in Neuroscience at SUNY Stony Brook Medical School before undergoing further study and specialization at the University of Nebraska and completing a fellowship in liver transplant and liver surgery at UCLA in California. Dr. Lee is fluent in English and Spanish. Her dedication to evidence-based and equitable healthcare is evident in her work and commitment to community service. “I believe in the words of Maya Angelou,” says Dr. Lee. “It's not just what we say or what we do, it's how we make our patients feel.
