As a widely trained healthcare provider in both the Palestine Medical Group Orthopaedics and Urology clinics, Physician Assistant Elisabeth Gonzalez (PA-C) works diligently to ensure that patients have that access to the care they really need.
“I have a clear understanding of how important it is for someone to have access to life-changing healthcare services in their hometown,” says Gonzalez. “Here in Palestine, I’m able to ensure that patients can get that care – without having to drive all over to get it.”
Gonzalez brings adaptability and flexibility to adjust her approach to fit the needs of each patient on their own terms. “Healthcare allows me to pursue my interest that combines the art and science of medicine,” Gonzalez explains. “Increasing patient access to care, especially specialty care, is extremely important to my values. I believe health is all-encompassing, with a ‘head-to-toe’ approach – that maintaining good health means taking the time to ask about general health practices and how I can create a plan together with my patients and build a strong foundation upon integrity, honesty, and communication for each patient.”
Gonzalez earned her undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University before completing PA school at the University of Texas Southwestern School of Health Professions, both in Dallas. Outside of work she enjoys spending time in my garden, cooking, baking, watercolor painting, traveling, reading, and exercising. “I’m also learning how to golf!”
